To judge less and to understand that others have stories in their lives that are burdensome.

I can let them know how much I appreciate them and remind them of the amazing things they have accomplished in life. I can offer a helping hand should they need it, unconditionally.

So far, I’ve eased my husband’s path a bit by composing a business email for him that he was stressing over.

I’m easing my path by staying out of work and tending to this cold that needs to be tended to.

Otherwise, my general answer is always kindness and presence. This is what I like, so this is what I try to give.

I will paraphrase St Francis’ words:
    Preach (be present)
the Gospel (a way of life)
    at all times
    and if necessary use words.

I think all these answers are great, and there is nothing I can add. Thank you all for these answers…great question!

I can ease the path that others are walking today by greeting everyone I come across with a smile and a friendly conversation.

Acknowledge the difficulty they may be facing, which means listening with an open heart. Being able to talk through a problem or dilemma can often begin to lift the burden. Most of just want to be heard and understood.

By just being there with no judgement, answers unless asked for and letting them know that you are there for them. A big hug is often appreciated..

I can ease the path that others are walking today by first being present, in heart, mind and spirit; to listen, and affirm their particular hardship or challenge, and as way opens, to respond with action and love.

Sometimes we don‘t see the flowers on the right or left side. Sometimes we need someone who knows if we have to go left or right. Sometimes we need an umbrella or someone who is making a joke. Sometimes we need a place for a little rest. I try to be there giving life (of which we all are part of) what i can

I don’t really know how I feel about that. Would I myself wish that someone else eases my path? It’s nice when someone else smiles at me. I have my own path to go. I might ask for help (which is a strength) if my path seems too hard. So I would probably treat the other as I would like to be treated. Just smile at them and wait if they might need help.

Be with them with all my heart and all I might be able to offer. Recently it was obvious that there is something to let go of in order to fully be available. I pray to His universal energy and was given a prayer yesterday.

Oh my Lord and my God, take from me everything that separates me from You.
Oh my Lord and my God, give me everything that leads me to You.
Oh my Lord and my God, take me from myself
    and make me entirely Yours.
