I was so busy I didn’t have time to answer yesterday, so am trying to catch up…I lived a YES on Saturday by walking our dog, making a really good dinner for my husband and myself, and listening with love to others.

Yes, it’s OK to say “no”

Calling a friend and we met in heart for a moment💕 🙏, feeding the birds during this cold day; listening to the silence and sensing some of stillness.

Today, I made waffles for breakfast instead just the same old cereal. I ordered in my favorite food from a restaurant. I got off the computer and played with my nephews. So feel I like I seized the moment in a lot of little ways.

Don doesn’t create his own reality, Don is a picture. Don is a picture in a mirror. He’s kind of thin! He is an appearance. He is a phenomenon – around which what you call the ego constellates. His self-image grows up around that picture. But when I say I create my own reality and really mean this, I say Who I really, really am creates reality. Who you really, really are is responsible for the whole show. So it’s a question of which “you” you are referring to. I don’t think that the chap in the mirror, namely little Don, can create anything. He’s a picture. He’s thin. He’s also intangible: you can’t touch him. I’ve identified with that picture: taken that picture and put it here, and its wrong. It doesn’t belong here, it belongs there. Don is not responsible for anything like creation, or for anything, because he is not conscious. The consciousness in me and in you is the One Consciousness who creates all reality, and is responsible for all reality. Focusing on the consciousness in me is the YES.

Putting tedious projects in front of me to accomplish [that I have left out these past few days- or months]. Calmly & peacefully doing my thing (but) when I’ve found myself rushing/getting worked up for no good reason at all…..slowing it down so I enjoy myself & the task at hand.

I am going to present all of my ideas – and let others be the “no”

by putting extra coffee in my cup to cheer me up?? by being on this site, for sure!🥰😘And by opening the blinds early enough to see pink sky from the sunrise! 🙂 AND I’m so grateful to my son for recommending the stacked Fisher and Paykel dishwashers I have – imagine letting 11 yrs of foody garbage accumulate in its nether regions, and even then its only symptom was excessive noise – and the internet led me quickly to the solution on its website. So happy to be a grateful mom 👩‍👧

Awesome!! As a Medical Lab Technician, who worked in a large blood bank processing donations, your whole blood donation can help save the lives of 3 people when it’s broken down into it’s components of red blood cells, platelets, and plasma🙂

I’m living a YES in many ways. I’m nurturing an aging cat with love. I’m enjoying the cardinals, sparrows, juncos, downy woodpeckers, blue jays, grackles, and nuthatches that have discovered the feeders and suet in the heavy snowscape. I’m enjoying my family, my book, and my project with consciousness. I am treating this day and this moment like it will never be here again, and enjoying the richness of it.

I’m finally caught up with work and can close my laptop today. My partner has the day off. I’m looking forward to an overdue date night. Also, my sister and my nieces are free for lunch. I’m gonna hang out with them. I can’t wait.

Welcoming the day with gratitude and love. Doing my daily meditation, prayer then looking at gratitude.org sets my mindset for the day. A mindset of positivity and looming forward to a beautiful sunny day, cold yet welcoming. It’s great to experience life. I can handle any negativity that threatens my attitude or emotion.

I woke at 4 a.m. to a still, frozen morning. Yesterday’s ice storm left tree branches, limbs, and brush on the forest floor gently burdened with thin layers of ice. The landscape glitters as dawn makes her entrance. I sit with my mug of Assam tea and speak silent, grateful words to God. Giving thanks to Abba Father, I light my incense and kneel on an old Tibetan prayer rug in front of my altar. I invite the Tibetan singing bowl to send out its universal sound along with my heart. The day is unplanned. I may create. I may cook. I may do tasks in my home. Or, I may do nothing but watch the changing light through ice trees: Clouds and sun doing a ballet, a pas de deux in the heavens. This is not, not doing anything. It is assuredly doing something: Saying YES to the moments of impermanence, which is life. 💜🌺

Up early with our old dog.
    Coffee.
    Gratitude.
    My life’s companion nearby.
Planning to create. Planning to cook.
Drying seeds to save for the spring.
Waiting for the sun and then the snow.

Deep breath, head up, shoulders back…..move forward into the day with no fears, no regrets, no looking back….just pure gratitude for this new day filled with endless opportunities and possibilities.

Waking up to this new day with gratitude for being alive is my first way of living a YES to life. I’ll carry on through the work day and evening, sharing my light as I go. I love this life and hope I always give it the best YES that I can!

In the morning I get up between 5 and 6, have a cup of coffee and then I step outside for a gentle walk in the fresh air. There are no petrol fumes yet, I hear the birds chirping, sometimes an owl when I walk along the edge of the forest. It’s a huge YES moment every day.

    sat and spoke with God
    tied up my walking boots
