I have been laboring for a long time without a great answer to this question. It is exhausting.

I posted the peace song, that I mentioned in my post below, in the Gratitude Lounge.

The realisation of mankind, that regardless of race, belief, colour of skin, nationality, gender, etc etc, that WE ARE SIMPLY ALL THE SAME, and aside from a devastating impact by a very large meteorite with Mother Earth, the only way of making the human race aware, is education and pure love for each other.

It has been said that the grand essentials of happiness are – 1. Something to do; 2. Something to Love, and 3. Something to Hope for. In my own way I seek to encourage a creative spirit that does this.

I have so many visions for the world. I think about ways to make things better all the time, but I feel powerless to change anything except myself. Even that seemingly simple task is difficult. It feels selfish to focus on my little world, but I am learning to accept things in the world as they are and try and make the changes in myself that are possible.
Happy Sunday to you all 🙏

A world of peace, harmony and goodwill. Where we are free to express ourselves without judgement or fear.

A place to explore and constantly evolving in love and knowledge.

Oneness with the creator and all of its creations.

What steps can I take…well perhaps to think about how i can create a safe space with the attributes I described with our like-minded people. Perhaps that space would expand and grow as is attracts those on the same vibrational journey.

Thank you Racel, for this positive vision. It just had the desired effect. 🙂

In conversation yesterday I thought one summary challenge in our world is that we are increasingly focused on M&Ms – Me and More, both inevitable consequences of individual insecurity, distrust, and a zero-sum focus between individuals and the groups that they represent. I suppose my vision is the opposite – individual security, trust, and a non-zero focus. I can do my part to foster these elements in my part of the world.

My main vision would be a world of harmony. I believe that harmony is only possible with understanding. Understanding is only possible by using all senses and putting aside preconceptions and biases, to fully observe how things work together, how emotions influence actions, how backgrounds form opinions, how suffering happens etc.etc. For example: I went from Human Rights to Animal Right to environmentalism only to find that they all belong together and require a deep understanding of the web of life. Things cannot be categorized and dissected they all belong together like body, mind and spirit. We are all in this together (not just humans, every creature, every thing) and we need to find some sort of harmony to be able to live well. So, my steps would go into the direction of total understanding.

Dear Dragonfly! 🙂 Your meditation reminds me of the song, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.” I will find it and post it in the Gratitude Lounge if you would like to hear it. You have a beautiful vision, Dragonfly. ❤

Yes, Holly in Ohio, the lyrics of this song would be part of my vision for a world that includes bees and apple trees (and everything else). 🙂 Your comment made me smile. Thank you.

        Hi Holly,
I think you mean my visit to the “Lounge”. I have the daily question on my home screen as a shortcut, and from there I can’t look any further on the website. I indeed miss the daily quote and also the lounge. I think it’s a kind of laziness on my part🙄. Who knows, maybe you’ll see me again soon. xxx Christine🌷

I must be popping into the daily question mostly on the days you are not posting. Like you, I read the question, but sometimes I mull it over in my mind and don’t have a ready response. ☺

I’m trying to bring people with different political views together with listening, gentleness, and kindness. Trying to help them/us to respect and even trust one another.

I work daily on lowering my environmental and climate impact, and helping others to do so.

I pass on information about grants, growing food, and saving money to help families thrive and have healthy food available to them and a safe home.

I keep bees and continue to learn and support native species, healthy soil, and wildlife.

The vision is for strong and diverse community, of all of us taking care of the poor, the hungry, of anyone in need to help them to thrive, also of thriving ecosystems and an environment that is not trashed or toxic to humans, and a planet and climate that heals.

The universe knows all so I would not presume to know anything. Today and each day I do my best to be kind and let go. Trust the universe and natures flow. Only the truth knows truth. My job is let go of falseness so become one with truth.
These are the steps I take each day .

Peace was my first word too. My next thought reminded me of the song from years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_DxNpW1kHQ

It seems far away when I watch the news but this site is a pocket of peace and we can hopefully find and create others.

Peace. Cooperation to end hunger and thirst. Kindness. By example.
