    Awe and awesome are two words used in common language today that have attached meanings different from the dictionary. According to the Merriam-Webster : awe 1)profound and reverent dread of the supernatural 2) respectful fear inspired by authority. Awesome: 1) expressive of awe 2) inspiring awe. The usage of epic is another word used frequently improperly. Epic: a long poem in elevated style narrating the deeds of a hero.
