As you prepare to cross the threshold into a new year, we invite you to join us December 5 – 6, 2025 for our annual online retreat.

We’ll bring grateful living practices, enlivening music and poetry, and inspiration to guide your journey. You bring your desire to complete this year and begin the next with intention and gratitude. Our time together will leave you feeling empowered to navigate the weeks ahead.

What an enriching, life-changing experience! For me, it was a total revolution of the heart.

Sangeetha P.

You will leave this retreat with:

Your personal review of the past year — what you’ve learned, celebrated, grieved — all that life has given and taken

Practices for releasing what you’re ready to leave behind, acknowledging and embracing uncertainty, and inviting joy

Guideposts, rituals, and a visual compass to support your journey across the threshold of the new year

Poetry, reflection questions, short essays, and more to work with during and after the retreat

A new perspective on the close of this year and the opportunity ahead

One of the greatest joys in my work is creating space for individuals and groups to experience heart and mind nourishment through retreat. Whether for a half day, a full day, or a whole week, I have led dozens of retreats that cultivate the insights that accompany playfulness, humor, discernment, and the power of pausing. Across all sectors, including spiritual, corporate, and mental health, I enjoy greeting however someone may arrive and crafting an experience where everyone leaves a bit more whole because they trusted in a caring process of reflection and openness to the possibilities that await after tending to oneself.

Sheryl Chard

Director of Education

There’s something about retreat time that opens up possibilities that don’t otherwise exist. Over the past few decades, I’ve had the opportunity to design and lead dozens of retreats, from one day to one week. In retreat centers and on school campuses, in community spaces and online, I’ve witnessed what can happen when we step out of our ordinary routines and gather with intention to explore, reflect, and share. As we complete yet another revolution around the sun, I look forward to the opportunity to be in community with you and to discern — each of us for ourselves — a meaningful and soul-nourishing path into the new year.

This was an amazing online retreat and exactly what I needed at this point in my life and at this time of year.

The focus on loving my heart and loving myself for what I’m able to do was such a gift as I move along my journey into further aging and life-threatening illness. I was given much more understanding of setting intentions that are flexible with what I am able to do in the moment. I received so much more than what I hoped for.

I’ve had a daily gratitude practice with friends via text for quite some time. This deeper dive helped me to see the strong foundation I’ve cultivated and gave me new tools. I feel like I can trust in myself more to find a source of spirit, grace, and strength within.

I would have not taken this time, nor learned so much about my insights, without this retreat. It solidified what my heart is longing for and provided a guide for how to implement.
