I think smiling and being kind are ways I can express gratitude. I will smile and be kind to the people around me as they help sustain my happy life.

Thank you to all who come here and share and the gratefulness team that keeps this site going and Br. David for his wisdom in creating it.

    Many things sustain me.

I give thanks to Nature and all the life that sustains me by growing a garden and making space for pollinators. The tall Douglas asters are blooming, their little purple flowers supplying late-season pollen.

My sweet husband makes me coffee every morning. I just thanked him again for his loving daily service. I know Joseph says agua es via, pero el café es vida tambien.

Dear friends sustain me. Today I’ll make time to call one friend and text a couple of others to sustain the friendship.

My love for my daughters and theirs for me definitely sustains me. I’ll read them a poem this morning in our WhatsApp thread. Maybe this one by Maya Stein (weird link because it’s an email newsletter) that speaks to the small things that sustain us. https://mayastein.com/campaigns/view-email/insY-NF-EiAR6OX0PcgA7jdXCK5WHrb6iC2g9itf2XGl6FMCscjpsPtBrwRyTherhdy2sY4y0onDNRq1WL4C9qGvLUXcJjfF__Oxutzko3Ut0vQTdOGluHFUskAdGG_0Eo27vAjpK_S0D_IsYwqFXOFbbnx-hyLK90mr6w==?ss_source=sscampaigns&ss_campaign_id=6aa9d2b6080fd057470a7f22&ss_email_id=6aa9e4d7080fd057470dbd78&ss_campaign_name=for+you%2C+a+little+poetry&ss_campaign_sent_date=2026-09-16T00%3A38%3A00Z

I can collect rainwater. The monsoon is here to soothe our aching drought. Collecting and saving water with gratitude is a way of honoring the rain.

Drea, it’s raining all day in the Twin Cities too. We’re under a severe drought here.

Yikes, I didn’t know there was a drought in MN as well. I think of the Great Lakes region as always being wet, that’s not accurate.

Everyday I go and see the sunset at this beautiful beach that I am temporarily living on! It is sustaining me through this hard job that I accepted for one month. I don’t know how people do it all summer, but the sunset on the beach probably has something to do with it.

9/17 is Constitution Day, also Citizenship Day. It’s a special day for me as I officially became a U.S. citizen on 9/17/24. I’m grateful for this new country that has brought me new life, a new family, new opportunities, as well as new challenges. Because of this, I see that I have become more mature and care more for those around me. I am learning to be part of a community that not only includes my Vietnamese people. Life is challenging, and I am blessed.
    Happy Citizenship Day!

My Ngoc, I remember helping you with the citizenship studying, and we were there together and took quite a few photos too.

My “Loc Gets Straight to the Point” business bran sustains me. I plan on working on creating a couple songs to connect dots for Saturday’s YouTube recording with Martin for my “Loc Gets Straight to the Point” page. I’ll do a song about how my beloved Seattle Supersonics lost our team to the Oklahoma City Thunder and are about to return in 2028 when the NBA expands to 32 teams with one in Seattle and the other one in Vegas. A 2nd song I’ll do is for Luke Walton, Martin’s former co-worker at a pizza place, who loves my songs. My empire is growing.

The universe method for letting go of my mind world is what surrounds me constantly sustaining me- even when I don’t know it ! My mindfulness is not always strong enough to remain focused to see the light and energy sustaining me 24/7. I can touch freedom and happiness here and now in this very moment and for that I’m Truly grateful.
Thank you of giving g us so much love !

Whatever it was that Drea reported, it was gone by the time I came here. Thank you for reporting it, which helps sustain the quality of this community.

I can’t reply directly to her comment, probably because it was a reply to something that’s gone. At any rate, thank you to Drea and the Gratefulness team.

Reported this to the team. For future reference, you can email the Grateful team and they’ll take it down. There’s not much of a barrier to registering for Grateful, which is both a big welcome to people who want to join, and makes it easier for fine specimens like the above to create fake accounts.
