Open my eyes and essence to life and all the little foibles that happen but make absolutely no difference to the ultimate outcome.
    Peace, Love & Light.

I know there will be plenty of opportunities for both. I will remain aware.

Just an hour or 2 ago, I had a dream where I was about to head to Menards for my 2pm-5pm piano shift. I was filling water into my water bottle and accidentally poured it into a cup. I saw my notification on my phone saying that lyft was arriving in 2 minutes. I was in a hurry pouring water from the cup into my thick metal water bottle in a hurry, and it was hot water which is what I drink. I was able to do it in time. As I rushed outside, it was a warm fall day. Good thing my Lyft came at the last minute before the dream cut off, but it was parked at my neighbor, Noel’s, house.
The dream felt very real. While I was waiting, I went on a Stephen A. Smith rant. Stephen A. Smith is a famous sports reporter from ESPN. I was ranting about how legacies are everything. As I woke up, my brain was running NBA simulations.
In real life, I’ve been having fun running that on the AI chat. The one I go to are the Michael Jordan ones, because his competitive foundation resignates better than me than LeBron’s collaborative politics. Let’s not even get started on nepotism. Back to my simulations.
My simulations are grounded with a clear purpose. As talked about yesterday, it all circles back to integrity. This morning, the theme was “Clean Lamar Odom.” He had a well-documented case of drug issues that held him back, especially cocaine overdose. But however, the public knows him over the Kardashians. His brief marriage with Kloe in 2011 was where his NBA career took a sudden turn for the worse which led to his life snowballing. If we even know Lamar, he must be that talented to start with.
Being in LA increases recognition. It’s those markets. LA is a large market with warm weather. Speaking of cities, I’m currently in Tampa with my family now for a large family vacation for both my mom and dad’s side of the family.
While running the Lamar Odom simulation briefly, I woke up feeling grateful as well. Vacation is a time for family and relaxing the mind. I’m glad that I’m in Tampa, not Japan where the language, culture, and system doesn’t feel accessible as someone with a disability who places a strong emphasis on autonomy. Not being able to enjoy Japan largely contributed to me using business venturing as a coping mechanism as well.
It also helps that the Florida trip is just 4 days, and 1 day has just wrapped up. The Japan trip was 10 days. Florida has beaches, and I love those. Today, we’re going on a family boat trip and swim at a beach.
Compatibility is the world to me having talked about common ground all the time before. During the Japan trip, other than my parents and Ngoc, I was surrounded with mainly my brother’s wife’s group of friends and their kids. They’re great genuine caring people, but there’s just less common ground. This time in Tampa, I’m surrounded by people from both my mom and dad’s side of the family where I’ve been familiar with since childhood. There’s the common experience that makes a huge difference.
Strong early impressions is what helps me talk about my Florida trip at great lengths and live by the standard 52 instead of needing jokers.
