It allows for reflection on what a gift my life truly is and helps me to stay present, aware, and content.

Sunnypatti, this reminds me of my answer not too long ago on how I talked about Apossal Paul not talking about going to heaven some day. We have more going for us than we realize.

We certainly do have a lot going for us 🙂 Worrying about “some day” takes us out of the gift of now. Be here now. Do good now. Everything will work itself out!

To view every moment as a gift lets the moment be free for what is meant to be and does not fix in advance what is expected to be or even negatively expected. This perspective may both include joy and sadness while in the same time, it leaves space for joy, acceptance, compassion and understanding, even if sometimes, this appears to the conscious mind only later.

My very life is a gift. When i remember this, i have no reason to complain. I think of sll those known and unknown who have come before me and have contributed to who i now am.

Viewing every moment as a gift helps me appreciate the fragility of life and put in perspective the present moment with a grateful heart

View every moment as a gift.
This requires a persistent attitude of positivity that I’m not even sure that I possess.
But I can become more positive (grateful) than I am, if I remind myself that each moment is a gift.
This really is very radical thinking. Every moment is a gift.
I will try to live today with this attitude. This greatly changes my perspective. It causes my worries to diminish,
and stops my dissatisfaction in its tracks.
Every moment is a gift. I can breathe. I can see on this rainy day in Jax FL
and notice wet branches and leaves blowing about in the wind.
I have a roof over my head and a comfortable sofa to sit on.
I can breathe, and I have food to eat and water to drink.
I will reflect on every moment being a gift today, and I will notice how this changes my perspective.

As I age, every moment, especially the highlights and holidays truly do seem more and more like a gift. But I am also aware of the gift of each season that rolls around, each rain that falls during a drought, each sunrise that enriches my garden, each sunset that colors our skies, the squirrel that chastises my dog Coco from a few feet up in the tree makes me giggle, the rabbit that gives Coco a run for her money and escapes through the fence has me cheering for them both. (I cheer a little harder for the rabbit, but I don’t want Coco to know that.) The notice that I just got reminding me that tomorrow is National Apple Pie day already has me tasting yummy warm apple pie. Even the gift of a tiff with my sweet husband, reminds me of how long we have been together and what we put up with from each other because our love is a gift. It’s all a gift. It’s just a matter of perspective.

Viewing every moment as a gift has shifted my perspective from ordinary to a blessing. And the good thing is that I don’t have to be hungry to feel how good a simple family dish tastes.

My Ngoc, our needs are past that nowadays. Being hungry to be able to feel how good a simple dish tastes takes forever to wait.

It helps me enjoy the easy times for as long as they last and appreciate everything I have in the moment.

Viewing every moment as a gift shifts my perspective on time. I pay attention to time and it seems to slow down. The world races around me, I don’t race with it. Instead, I want to experience every second. This has a calming effect.

It occurs to me as I read your reflection, Drea, how closely the realization that every moment is a gift, is related to staying in the moment. This reminds me to get out of my head and into the moment. ♥️

Drea, I’m glad you’re able to by-pass time. It’s a distraction. One truth I’ve come to learn that has helped me is time doesn’t exist. Man created it to help us be more productive and organized.

This quote today reminds me of the Buddha who said we need to practice like our hair is on 🔥 fire – because it is ! I’m truly grateful that the heavens have opened up the clear pathway to freedom and that I am prepared and practicing like my hair is on fire 🔥- only now so much more has been uplifted/removed/taken away that I have way less fear, worry, thoughts are being taken away but by bit as I use the method and make a choice toward Truth . Becoming Truth in this very lifetime is our birthright and the reason and purpose for our human existence. Thank you so much 🙌💓💯

Seeing every moment as a gift reminds me, in the simplest form, that I am alive, today. This too shall pass. 🫶🏽☮️

      Indeed it will,

      this knowledge
helps me keep things in perspective
      and breathe in my Life
      even more. ♥
