I guess maybe the wifi around here is miraculous. I think even just last year the internet would have been spotty at best. I don’t like Elon Musk but the Starlink service has provided internet access to a lot of people in very rural areas who never had it before

Well, there’s the ordinary, for me, stuff around the house. Running water, hot water!, sanitary sewer, electricity, and a house that I can heat and
cool with a touch of a button. I’m pretty aware of how special these things are, but it’s easy to take them for granted.
And then there’s my autonomic nervous system.
    Now that is truly miraculous.

    . . . the fact
that I am alive at all today,
    all things considered.
    It is a miracle . . . ♥

I get so involved in life I forget to acknowledge the rythm of my life. The everyday pattern that is fluid daily a bit, but like my breath is a constant.

The gift of being able to have children and raise them. Not everyone is given that miraculous gift. Sometimes it mays seem ordinary but I have had friends and family that it didn’t come that easily if at all. Happy Sunday! 🌞

The sunrise, the sunrise the last few days has just been amazing. I savor the view on the way to work each morning. Each morning the sky has different colors and the cloud formations are different.
As the day goes on, and I become stressed out with the daily task of dealing with people- I need to close my eyes and recall the beautiful sunrise. The sunrise makes me smile… along with a good song on the car radio.
Life is beautiful and messy but always worth the ickyness.

Maple syrup. The rich, deeply flavored treat is easy to buy here in the US. Maple trees need to be at least 40 years old before they’re tapped, as well as healthy. The people who tap the trees listen for the right moment, and use processes that don’t hurt the tree. Then comes an involved process of refining the syrup in a special facility. That’s all I know about it. But we always have a big container of maple syrup in our fridge, as though it’s ordinary. It’s really extraordinary.

Yes, real maple syrup is a staple in my fridge also. 😁

      . . . not ordinary at all,
      dear Drea.
      I had a friend
      whose neighbor was there,
tapping a maple tree in her front yard
as I was coming to visit.
      I asked nicely,
      and the young man
      gave me a generous sip . . .
      it was wonderful–
      right out of the tree.
It tasted like cold maple flavored water.
      Thanks for the memory. ♥

The sugar houses, in Vermont that I visited, where their syrup is processed smells delicious and often offer yummy pancake breakfasts.
And they sell their syrup and everything made with maple syrup. It is a fun field trip🍁

Don’t laugh—eating enough fiber! We travelled to Dollywood last week, I had a great time with my kids and husband, but I ate way too much for fine food. My poor gut let me know for several days. I deeply appreciate home-cooked minimally processed food.

I am continually struck that a tiny seed can turn into a huge thing. The farmers market is a good reminder of this miraculous explosion with its produce.

I went to a mindful writing practice this morning and we sat in meditation and followed the breath. So grateful for the peace.

I have the miraculous gift of being at another meditation center and it’s a huge gift ! It’s so amazing and so many minds are coming up and going away ! It’s a miracle of miracles to be able to cleans the human mind world full of false illusionary pictures! I’m so grateful to the universe to let me do this ! I’m grateful and also humbled by the extraordinary grace of every moment.
