How Do I Set Up My Learning Profile?
When you order your first e-course by hitting “subscribe” at the bottom of a description of an e-course, you will be walked through the process during checkout. The email address you provide during checkout will be your Username for logging in and for receiving course emails, so be sure there are no typos when you type it in!
Immediately after registering you will receive an email with your login details. The given password is a very long, very secure one, but you can change it to one you like in your Learning Profile. If you already took a course with us, you will simply login to your existing profile for this course.
All your eCourses are listed under MY COURSES, which can be accessed in your Learning Profile or at the top navigation of each page. You can also see your Orders and Manage Your Account, updating your profile with a short description of yourself, your on-screen name, your photo, your location, and changing your password.
How do I access my eCourse?
You must be logged in the access the eCourse. You can locate the LOGIN button at the top of each page. If you are already signed in you will see MY LEARNING PROFILE instead of the LOGIN button. Your eCourses are accessed via the MY COURSES link, which is in your Learning Profile or at the very top of every page of learn.gratefulness.org.
Click on the eCourse in MY COURSES, then on the next page, click on VIEW COURSE. This takes you to the Course Overview (eCourse Home) page, where you will be able to access all the weekly sessions as they become available. It is a good idea to bookmark the Course Overview (eCourse Home) page for future reference.
Why can’t I login?
Be sure that you are logging into the Learn.gratefulness.org site, NOT Gratefulness.org. Learning Profiles are separate from the profiles on our main site, Gratefulness.org. Logging in on one site does not automatically log you into the other, but you could create and use the same login details for both. It is convenient to keep the “Keep me signed in” box checked so that you do not have to login each time.
I am having trouble resetting my password. What can I do?
Be sure to check your spam folder for the email sent to you with your password reset information. Or, you can do a search in your email account for the subject line “Reset Your Password,” from “[email protected]”. If the link in that email does not appear to be “live” or clickable, please copy and paste it into your browser, taking care not to add an extra space on the front end.
If you still have trouble with the password reset system, please write to us at [email protected] and we will happily issue you a new temporary password manually.
I’m having trouble viewing the embedded video. What can I do?
Some devices cannot play embedded videos. If that is the case for you, please click on the word “vimeo” in the bottom right-hand corner of the video screen. This will allow you to view the video directly on our vimeo channel.
I have not received eCourse emails. What is wrong?
Please be sure to add “[email protected]” to your email Contacts. Emails with links to the week’s course session are sent out each Wednesday (from May 17-June 17, 2017). If you do not receive these emails please check your “Promotions,” “Social,” and Junk Mail/Spam folders. If none of these suggestions work, please contact us and we will manually send you a link to the missing eCourse session.
What do I do if I experience other “technical issues” during the eCourse?
We very much hope you won’t (!) but if you do, please contact us. In the drop down list for “Reason for getting in touch,” please select “Technical issue.”
