Coming to this question after everyone else, i’m entering into a new day in france. For yesterday and the days that I’m here, I am embodying curiosity, an openness to look and explore, and friendly vibes to those around me, especially those who patiently listen to my basic French. Sunday on a bus I entertained a toddler in the seat in front of me, who was a little grumbly until we started playing peekaboo. The biggest smile! The parents smiled and said goodbye to me as I got off the bus.

I would like to embody the wisdom of the world . . .
stand under the willow tree
and sing like the birds,
swim in the sea
and heal the coral reefs . . .
I would love to plant seeds of grace and peace
in every spare corner of the earth,
tend them and watch them grow,
make paths across the planet
that would leave beauty and goodness
in their trail,
wipe the sorrow and pain
from every grieving brow,
and give dreamless sleep
to those who carry the weight
of troubles and woes.
I would like to be the burden basket,
the worry dolls,
mala beads,
of the world,
soothing troubled souls
and anxious hearts . . .
to be an angel of mercy
who takes to my breast
anyone who feels lost, frightened, or alone.
I’d like to be the mediator
who stops wars before they begin,
the mistress
who sends rain where it is needed,
and sunshine and shade
to ease the heat and cold.
But I can’t . . .
I am not that being,
although I hold the intention in my heart.
I am only me.
What I can do
is to get up in the morning
and vow to do the very best I can
on any given day
and go to bed at night
feeling like I have done my best. ♥
Peace & calm.
I am currently “hunkered down” inside as a blizzard rages outside.
Winds are crazy & snow is piling up.
I pray all my family, friends & neighbors are safe.
I pray for our 1st responders who have to be out in these dangerous conditions. 🙏🏻
May all be safe. 🙏🏻🕊️🩷
I’m sorry,
dear PKR,
that you are having to experience
another punishing snowstorm,
and hold you,
your friends, family,
first responders,
and anyone else caught in its clutches
in my heart
until the sun comes out again. ♥
May all will be well with you, dear PKR, and that all the families, loved ones and neighbors are safe! And especially the ones who will be there to help in this blizzard! My prayers are with all of you.
I wish every day to embody and share life-giving energy…I share some writings from my journals
Morning Meds 10/28/2020 Let Us Pray
I can make every breath a prayer.
Breathing is taking and giving.
Breathing in I give thanks for life.
Breathing out I remind myself of
the importance of sharing myself with others.
We can make every step we take a prayer.
Wherever our steps take us, let us be pilgrims of peace
Accepting what is here and now
For without acceptance, there is no path to growth.
We can make every chore we face a prayer.
Let everything we do carry a life-giving energy
with the intention to bring healing to our minds and hearts.
We can pause often to pray
Giving ourselves permission to just BE
It’s called “practicing the Presence”
And they say practice makes perfect.
Let’s not trouble our selves with what we can’t do.
But rather, give thanks for what we can.
And may we all pray for willingness
To pray without ceasing.
Morning Meds Weekend January 14-15 2023 Wish I had written these!
“Just to be is a blessing. Just to live is holy.” Abraham Joshua Heschel
“In the end, these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?” —Jack Kornfield
“I have long been on this planet, and have made my way to the place I want to be. To “expand my experience of the world” is to live here, now, within the gifts given already for this day/week/year. My “influencers” are curiosity, opportunity to get outside if weather allows, the book I am currently reading, the daily chores before me, the passage of darkness and light throughout the day. ” (Posted by a friend on gratefulness.org)
”Let’s not trouble our selves with what we can’t do.
But rather, give thanks for what we can.”
This is very pertinent for me,
dear Carol Ann,
especially a gardening time is coming
and I am unable to do
as much as I used to.
Thank you
for planting it at the top of my list. ♥
I hope everything comes out okay, ha ha! One of my favorite discoveries for prep was Better than Bouillion. It’s a concentrate in a jar in the soup aisle at my grocery store and it provided that flavor of umami, savory flavor and salt that was very welcome as a food substitute.

ps. I love the quote from Abraham J. Heschel.
Acceptance of what is, both in the world and in our hearts.
The weather is not so settled today. So, I’d like to embody the energy of awareness. 🌨
My Ngoc, it’s also very ideal for my energy of enthusiasm too.
Today is colonoscopy prep day, so I’m going to go for radical acceptance 😂.
I hope everything comes out okay, ha ha! One of my favorite discoveries for prep was Better than Bouillion. It’s a concentrate in a jar in the soup aisle at my grocery store and it provided that flavor of umami, savory flavor and salt that was very welcome as a food substitute.
Thanks Barb! I actually have that in my fridge, hadn’t thought to drink it, that’s a great idea.
I HEAR YOU!
Thanks Carol. Not fun but necessary and ultimately–better to have it than not.
Peace and relaxation.
It’s very windy and unsettled weather where I am today. I hope I can embody and share a sense of calm, peace and contentment.
Calm and consistent
Empathy, compassion, wisdom, and companionship.
“Peace, love and understanding” -Nick Lowe re-recorded by Elvis Costello
I would like to share the energy of
welcome-ness and comfort. ♥️
Strong, loving, peaceful energy ✨
