I’m greateful for waking up this morning.
I am grateful that I allowed God into my life, my soul, my being.
Today i’m grateful for having family and a roof over my head
Today, I am grateful to be starting a class on how family is constructed in the biblical world. God-willing, this class will help me to learn how to apply the insights and wisdom of the biblical text into my own ethical and spiritual life.
What is the name of the study?
My sis who is coming in to help mom while I am away on a get-a-way –
Mystery. Not knowing what is around the corner, the path to take when the road forks, or the unexpected occurrences along the way. Life remains interesting, engaging, and I can stay focused on the moment at hand.
All of it.
I am grateful for Grace. The opportunity to be open to it and for the possibilities it enables me to access. I realize that on my own, I would never be able to access what is freely given.
Grateful for my lovely walk this morning in beautiful countryside; for my lovely husband who did all the chores today, made the garden look beautiful and just picked me a huge vase of peonies from the garden; for being here and alive so that I can be grateful; for my little pocket of safety where we currently (mustn’t speak too soon) have no major problems and that although I am in great pain today, I can still go on living so much better than so many.
So much, but difficult to say because of my state of mind.
I feel so sad to hear this. Remember we are all out here for you.
Making it home safely from our trip. My husband & I catered his cousin’s wedding in NC this past weekend (we are in SC), and while the wedding and food were wonderful, the trip to and fro were not! But we made it. And are home and off work a few more days so we can relax!
I’m grateful that my kitten is feeling better and back to his playful self. I’m grateful for the Vet who treated him. There is nothing like the sound of a kitten playing, eating and purring…..
I’m grateful for the peace and quiet I feel inside my being.
I am grateful for the rain that has been falling the last few days. It cleans the air and waters all the thirsty trees and plants.
Today’s quote by OCTAVIA BUTLER, which now has me reading about her in Wikipedia and wanting to read some of her sci fi. Thank you, gratefulness team!
Lots of posts already today – this question doubtless resonates with those on us on the gratefulness site 🙂
