I believe that the best thing I can do for people I care about is to make them feel as though I understand them and am always available to them. Nowadays, it’s difficult to find a friend on whom you can rely. Not just on good days, but also on bad.
Listening better and respond from my heart, let aside fear and go with the flow. As Don Jones and Ed mentioned, be in connection with His Light and Love when doing so. Thank you for your contributions today, dear friends.
At our centre is this fantastic resource. In the Upanishads of India, again and again they say, what we are at our centre is the Source of all things. The Source of all things is concealed at our very heart and centre. The art of life is to connect up consciously with this fantastic Resource. The Buddhists say the same, in other tones of voice. They call it our Buddha-Nature. Remembering or reawakening to what is already there is what nourishes.
That which is the source of all things is what nourishes. 🙏 thank you
Today I was fortunate enough to have participated in one of my dear friends sons confirmation festival. I made a cheese cake for the event and attended with love. I’m grateful to be invited to such an event and I try to nurture all the people I meet to the best of my abilities.
Happy Saturday friends!
I can better nurture the things i treasure by not just throwing them out whenever i get upset. With my experience , i threw out some pretty special things that could’ve helped me today. With opportunities i cant help the fact that im always gonna ignore it because sometimes i dont want the best for me. I want to fix that but to me just the thought seems corny and stupid. So in time maybe i can succeed.
I can better nurture the people I treasure by showing care and compassion for all the students I encounter in my new substituting job. I can better nurture my knowledge (a thing I treasure) by remembering to use every moment in life as an opportunity to learn something new and interesting.
Remeber to place first things first and take the time to consider each person’s individual need – not just what I think they need.
Keep the Rosy-white light emanating from the heart centre bright and flooding the earth and everyone in it with Logic Love.
Dear Ed, may I ask please, what is Logic Love???
The Love of ……and this is the descriptive of “Logos”
“Manifestation of Absolute Beingness; ( aka God ) Son of God; Divine Common Selfhood; the ‘Word’ as identified by St. John:
And I will add one more ……the Christ-hood of every human being……which is as…. with Don Jones contribution ( above ) “They call it our Buddha-Nature. Remembering or reawakening to what is already there is what nourishes. “
By listening and making it comfortable for them to talk.
I can be in the moment and enjoy them
By accepting myself and others for who we are even though we might not agree. By providing love compassion and support to all and being there for them and ourselves. Starting each day with reflection,, Gratefulness and acceptance
I feel nurtured reading all of your comments. 💜 As stated in the eight reflections before mine, I do my best. Most of all, I smile at as many people as possible. I write a column that I humbly hope ‘nurtures’ those I know and do not know. I watered my orchids that have stopped blooming at this time of year. But it was soothing for them since they were very, very dry. Today another bud appeared! A miracle for me 🌺 🌸 🌺 .
As with everything, by slowing down and paying attention. Giving my full attention to things and people nurtures things like my seedlings, my plants, animals, and people. Continuing to rush around does not.
I already do:) One area I take pride on. Have a wonderful weekend everyone😊
PS for Samuel- today is Nat’l Oatmeal Cookie day! I still have your recipe.. I need to make em.
No way ! Yummy 🤤
In my view it is not so much in doing something but in letting the things be done. The best thing is to go out of the way and giving body and mind to the almighty. He is nurturing the best way possible. There is a danger in thinking I am the giver, lover and so on because we might hope for a response according to that which we gave. The only thing which I have is my ego. To whom shall I give it? The rest is all his.
But on an other level gratefulness makes a treasure out of almost everything. So I can handle everything and everybody with respect and care.
