through meditation, giving thanks to the Universe, to dear friends, loved ones and strangers when the dear one with the harp is playing wonderful soothing harp music in town both some money as well as spoken words of gratefulness for his contribution to the well being of the inhabitants, as his music is really touching and offering peaceful, calm moments any time he is visiting our little place and enriches athmosphere and mood in the ones passing by. So many situations when a Thank you is said or expressed through words, deeds, some money, some flowers, singing, cooking for someone what they really love… so many little gestures possible.
Thank you for this reminder. I feel gratitude often, but I don’t always communicate it. I mean, I say thank you and please, but I don’t often tell people how grateful I am for their time, attention, friendship, and support. I mostly just assume that they know how important they are to me. I’ve gotten better at this, but I could do better.
Thank you all for being here and sharing. I am grateful for this resource and all of you who visit here.
Saying Thank You’s, like to those of you who sent me good thoughts as I’m resting from bad respiratory cold. I’m on the mend! Thank you Creator. An attitude or mindset of gratitude leads me to think how I can be helpful, and may lead to spontaneous random acts of kindness. It also influences my prayers and meditation, as I know All is a Gift! Happy Sunday All☮️🍁
Gratefulness practice has provided me perspective, peace, happiness, resilience, and hopefully some wisdom among many other positive benefits. I am grateful for gratefulness.org and its many related resources. Gratefulness practice helps me to encounter the world (i.e., everything) through the lens of gratefulness. Hopefully, with practice, I express my gratefulness on a regular basis as a kind, patient, generous, forgiving, compassionate, open-minded, loving, thankful, thoughtful, vulnerable … human being.
I say thank you to the Divine for “this beautiful new day” as I rise each morning. I continue my thank you’s as I go about my day. I finish my day by thanking the Divine for the day that just unfolded. I usually recite all the things/events of the day & give thanks. 🙏🏻
I make it my intention to be grateful each day.
Life is just better for me with “an attitude of gratitude”.
Happy Sunday All. 😊

Michele, I watched the Eagles last week for MNF and tonight. It made me think of you. The Eagles are a strong defensive team. You guys won against the Packers last Monday 10-7 and tonight against the Lions 16-9.
What a great thought provoking question!! It helps me understand that perhaps gratitude grows just like love when given away. Again my brain compares gratefulness and love. Isn’t it really the same thing? How do I express gratefulness? If I am grateful for my life, my circumstances- I live it with enthusiasm. If grateful for the people around me- I treat them lovingly, kindly and with appreciation. When I am grateful I recognize the impermanent nature of what surrounds me and take gentle care. When grateful, I act responsibly and do what is right and good. When grateful, I see the fun and the humor in my human existence; it colors all I do and leaves a sprinkle of lightness as I pass through. When I am grateful for all my past and present experiences (the “good” or “bad”) , I foster openness to all experience…agreeableness and become better armored and more resilient. This is how gratefulness is expressed through me. I am grateful for the power and potential grateful living can bring me. < How is that for a gratitude loop?? 😉 😀
Your comment “a sprinkle of lightness”, caught my ha ha memory of something my brother-in-law said to Dani his daughter when she was about 5. She is 10 now. Someone asked her if she wanted “sprinkles” on her ice cream. She said yes and Tony piped up “Sprinkles are for winners, ain’t that right Dani ?!”
By having a positive attitude & offering to help others where needed. Being grateful for each day I am here on Earth enjoying nature and it’s abundant beauty 🍂
I keep trying to post a comment, and the website keeps telling me it’s a duplicate comment, but I still don’t see my post after 15 minutes!
Trying again… good thing I copied and pasted…
I wake up and say, “thank you.” I journal after meditating, ending my entry with things that I am grateful for. And I like to think that the way I walk through life expresses my gratitude as well.
And I would like to express gratitude to each of you who so offered such wonderful birthday wishes to me yesterday! Thank you for the kind words – they really filled my heart up 💛
Our big day of adventure was so fun and incredibly challenging! We did a rope course that my husband said made him feel like he was on Survivor 😆And ziplining was so exhilarating! Such a great way to celebrate being alive.
To be grateful in my daily life, I remind myself that what seems ordinary to me may be a big wish for someone else. Notice it, and be grateful. Happy Sunday, everyone!
My Ngoc, with today being my piano menards day, I’m with you on this one. Of course, I don’t love my job but like it enough where it brings the benefits of a laid back lifestyle and appreciate it where many people do wish to be in the position I am.

You are right,
dear Ose . . .
we can express our gratefulness
through ‘so many little gestures’. ♥

You may not intentionally communicate your gratitude,
dear Charlie,
but I think it comes through naturally
in your demeanor. ♥

I’m happy to hear,
dear Carla,
that you are on the other side of this cold. ♥

I express gratitude on a regular basis by being present and open by trying to use my senses and being grateful for the various spectrum of moments.
I contribute and connect.
Here on this site, most mornings. Spontaneously, as I move through my day. During meditation and prayer.

Opening my heart and essence to the universe each and very day I am gifted. Namaste.
