HOW DO I WANT TO BE REMEMBERED?

I will be remembered as a peaceful, humorous, humble and lively individual. I will not practice pre-judgement replace that with curiousity and love.

She was a balls to the wall, ovaries out the door, go-do it, love-fueled, kinda gal who was equally at ease with royalty and prisoners. And yes, there was wine involved!

I want to be remembered by my kind loving heart, sweet personality, nice domineer, creative mind, and love for the environment & creatures on it. Also want to remembered by my great fashion sense.

I would love to be remembered as someone who really tried to love others as myself, and tried to leave the world a better place (with the emphasis on tried! I know I don’t always get it right!)

It would be nice if the memories were a sweet fragrance for those that cared.

I want to be remembered as someone who risked everything to fight for justice and who succeeded in creating a more anti-racist, environmentally friendly, spiritual, equitable, and loving world.

Why does this question make me feel uncomfortable?
I’m not sure I have much to do with the narratives others create about me. I’m living authentically and gratefully.

Don’t know. I just know that to be remembered for the most part would represent immortality.

As kind and loving man. A role model. Humble. Funny. Brilliant. Committed. Brazen. Trustworthy. Not afraid to fail. Authentic. Relatable. A leader. An inspiration. A legacy.

It has been said that “people will remember how you made them feel.” I hope that I will have made people feel worthy of my time, inspired, loved, heard, welcomed… Unfortunately, I’m sure I have made those closest to me feel, at times, guilty, embarrassed, hurt, inadequate. I hope that my love (and God’s) will cover over my multitude of sins.

As a mother who made mistakes, but tried her best to make. up for that. As a grandmother and great grandmother who was active and helpful in their lives. A mom, grandmother and great grandmother who loved them all and they knew it and could feel that love, and still feel that love after I am gone.
