I believe that I already made my little one smile today. If not, I plan to have lots of fun with her.

Can’t receive more instant joy than seeing a little one smile. Thanks for the visual Erich.

Handle over a note to my friends and beloved – a folded sheet of paper, slipped under the door, clamped to the windshield under the windshield wiper or secretly put in the jacket pocket or in the wallet, and when it is then curiously unfolded — nothing on it but

May you be happy today! With love
    😘

Scratching my Kelpie dog’s tummy always brings a happy reaction… legs in the air like she just doesn’t care and find just the right spot and one of the back legs starts twitching… all the time, the tail wagging. I am marking that one up as a “smile”.

Be the first one to smile. Oftentimes my smile elicits a smile back, but not always.
Practice kindness in all interactions. 😊

If I can be as present and in the moment as possible and let people know that I see and hear them, I think that will be my part in this dance. A smile of acknowledgment can go a long way.

My sister’s dearest friend arrives this afternoon. It’s her birthday and this morning I will be making her a birthday cake. It’s a recipe I’ve never made before and it sounds yummy. Chocolate Mocha Cake! I’m pretty sure it will garner a smile.

Be mindful and make the best choice in support of interbeing— your smile is my smile. This reminds me of Ubuntu– I exist because you exist.

Today is a rainy day here in WV. I won’t see anyone else today- but I will write a note to my niece and my sister in law and send via mail…getting “snail mail” always brightens their day! I will also try to get my husband to smile…he has the best smile and laugh of anyone I know. To everyone on this site…May your day be filled with knowing how much your words and reflections are appreciated.

For me today is a day of solace and remembrance. Remembering the death and destruction that wars brought upon the world. The sacrifices that men and women endured and suffered. May we reflect on this and hope that soldiers in the world today who are involved in conflict oppose their so called leaders, lay down their arms and say enough is enough that i am not going to fight your battle. May peace and compassion come to the world so that we can all smile.
