Many people’s kindness has touched me, but the person who comes to mind first is a friend. I met them about 10 or 12 years ago, through their partner. They became a real estate agent, and I asked them to help me look for a house several years ago, which is when I got to know them more as an individual.
They told me about growing up with deaf parents and how they learned about communication. Not long after my partner and I bought our house, I lost my job in a very messy situation. I was absolutely devastated. I invited my friend over for coffee one morning, and she talked to me for hours about everything that had happened. Afterwards, she offered me a small freelance project to work on that really helped boost my confidence when I needed it.
I can still feel the relief I experienced from my friend’s kindness.
My Mother’s life time friend has been such a great friend since my Mother died 22 years ago of cancer. She is a huge support system to me and has loved my children (step grandmother). So grateful to have her in my life
Imagine finding an amazing soul when you least expect it. A fresh breath of air, someone whose true, authentic self, touches your heart every day. My person, his kindness has (and still does) touched me.
My parent’s kindness always touched me they are extremely generous and helpful. My co-worker’s kindness always touched me she is very thoughtful and giving. My friend Kelly has always touched me with her kindness. The doctor’s at my office kindness is always very touching. I really am grateful for all the kind people in my life:)
These days I was touched by the kindness of a very sensitive and loving woman who surprised me by sending a beautiful gift chosen from her heart for my heart, and with sending it all her warmth and caring, which touched me deeply. I feel we are connected in a special and heartfelt way. Not sure if I had expressed it as I feel it towards her when I replied, but I hope that it arrived in her heart and that our friendship will unfold in loving kindness.

I think, without a doubt, Divinity. Such loving kindness – and patience, with this tangled mess. I imagine the dialogue:
Don, what are you doing over there?
Don, so many questions…
Don, what did you just do/say?
No Don, you haven’t got this.
Don, haven’t we talked about this already?
My cousin Lisa is one of thee kindest people. She is thoughtful, generous, sweet, authentic, joyful & so so kind. I am blessed to call her family & friend.
Whose kindness has touched me?
My next door neighbors immediately come to mind. They are almost 10 years older than me but they still constantly think of me and check on me because I live alone. Both of them are pushing 90 years of age but he sees that the leaves are raked in my front yard and the snow is cleaned from my driveway. His wife tells me to call or drop by any time. I have experienced kindness from so many friends and strangers throughout my life. Plus, I can’t help but think of my cat who passed away many years ago. If I was upset about something, that cat would jump into my lap and caress my cheek with claws withdrawn or lie across my feet if I was standing up. He also, liked to lie across my feet whenever I returned home from a business trip. It was his way of letting me know he missed me and hoped I wouldn’t be leaving home again any time soon. He was such a loving and caring companion and I miss him to this day. He came into my life when he was just a baby kitten no bigger than my fist. I remember the day he arrived. I had pulled into a neighbor’s driveway to pick up my young daughter and she came running to the car with a small bundle of fur in her hands. She said, Mama, can I bring this kitten home? We already had two dogs! I said, “No” and she reluctantly put the cat down in the middle of the neighbor’s yard. That tiny little creature followed her, running as fast as his little legs would carry him and arrived at the open car door with her. I sighed and said, “Put him in the car!” She gave me the biggest smile and scooped up the cat and jumped in the car. When he passed away from kidney disease 16 years later, I buried him under one of our pecan trees and lovingly told him to feed its roots and I know in my heart he heard me and said, “I can do that.” Kindness not only could but would change the world for the better.
The daily kindness’s that I witnessed and experienced at a psychiatric hospital three years ago. This was life changing for me. One person in particular had a way of talking with other patients in a way that was reassuring, lighthearted, and with good boundaries. I decided to try and be more like him. Watching the broken helping the broken was transforming.
The kindness of the ice cream shop owner and customers who were so immediately helpful when I tripped, fell, and broke my wrist Sept. 1 outside the shop comes to mind.
My husband likely wouldn’t describe himself as kind, but his gentle persistence in saying “Here, let me do that” and doing things for me that are challenging with my arm in a cast is kindness.
There are so many, and I feel so fortunate. I have one of the world’s greatest neighbors. I’ve had people at other times in my life hold me up when I was down. I’ve seen people give kindness to others in ways that touched me for the tenderness. I am fortunate to have a kind family. But this morning I am thinking of someone here. There are many (many!) here who are kind to others, but there is one that comes to mind this morning who has been very kind and attentive, and who has given many cheery posts. 💐🐰♥

May I grow in awareness and apprecation of the acts of kindness shown to me day by day, and may I grow in my ability to be kind to others.

The patience of anyone. Always blessed by the kindness of all of you.

My ex husband has done some very good things for me. He sometimes gets an attitude but his positive attributes outweigh his negatives
