The presence of the God who made the first two.
I am grateful for the internet that had helped me connect to the most amazing and experienced people in this world.
All the invisible forces of love that provide stability, guidance and protection, sometimes I forget they are there or take for granted
We are reeling in British Columbia today from a terrifying “atmospheric river” event which has caused flooding and road destruction on major highways. I haven’t always remembered to be grateful for the highways, have taken access in and out of the city for granted.
All the things that are not there and which i wouldn’t like to be there
light around me that makes everything visible. we must be grateful for that.
The sky above me.
the little engine that could
Every part of my body. I am thankful for the fingers allowing me to type this and for the legs propping up my computer and keeping it steady. For my eyes that can see the screen and for my arms that support my hands. I’m thankful for the trees, especially during this time of year where the fall colors are rich and vibrant. I’m grateful for a place to live and a place I can call home. A place to keep me warm or cool and safe.
Someone somewhere no matter how bad it gets is trying to improve the world, make things better. There are dreamers, people who are dreaming of a world there isn’t so much suffering and yes, suffering is real and people experience it all over the world. There are incorruptible dreamers in the world who truly just want to make the world a better place.
I love this so much!
The trees are sheltering all of us. I walk past them and forget the beauty, shade and care of healthy air they give to us.
Shelter – a safe, warm, dry home with a good roof and someone to share it with.
The source of creation which is throbbing within me.
The Beauty and Balance of Mother Nature.
The sun, sky, moon & stars. Always there, doing their thing. Thank you…….❤️🙏
The Etheric Vitality……the “daily bread ” of Cosmic Energy which is the source of all life in all forms
Gravity — the reason I’m grounded to this earth and able to breathe the air around me.
The food I eat?
When I look outside the window from the warm and cozy place where I live, I see a lovely place, beautiful houses and a view on a church right in front of me, all seemingly a self-evident presence and comfort every day which nourishes me in many ways, it provides security, beauty, a safe feeling and atmosphere, food inside the stores easily to buy, places for meditation in reach and friends to share all this abundance. Indeed a huge lot to be grateful for. Thank you for this question!
Broadly, home. More specifically, I woke up on a snowy cold morning with a roof over my head, hot water in the shower, lights and the satellite TV back online. Only with this prompt do I take a moment to recognize the absolute blessing of these things I take for granted.
I’m with Samuel today – the village of people it takes to make my life what it is, known and unknown.
Clean water and he who helps me all day everyday. My lovely husband.
Impossible to fully describe, it is the connection we feel with our friends and family and universe. Love.
The sun, the sunrise and sunset, the changing sky, the clouds, the sound of wind. The ocean waves on the shore.
The “Village” of others that it takes to sustain me every day of my life. All the others, known or unknown to me, who are necessary for my continued existence on this beautiful blue planet. “It takes a village…”
The life within me…
I echo Pilgrim, other people.
That ground beneath us, though. . . In the time of rapid and accelerating global climate change, the living soil is one of the largest, most effective, and greatly underappreciated carbon sinks around the entire planet. We’ve depleted over half of our topsoil in the US by ways of mono-cropping, rampant inefficient mechanical cultivation methods (namely, tilling), and urea (petroleum-based) fertilizers.
“The farmer’s primary task is to produce soil. We must give back more than we take from it. The earth itself will calculate the interest—no significant amount— for each person according to his service” (Vladimir Fokin)
The food I eat, the safe space where I sleep, the people who are always there for me
I am grateful for shelter and a place to be. It is so simple, and yet not something everyone has.
My body and immune system.
The love in my heart and soul.
Fire (Sun) and water.
The light that lights my day and everything in it.
The heart within me… and all of the other organs. They just keep doing their thing so I can keep doing my thing. I’m grateful they’ve made it 49 years today!
How delightful, I just got to sing happy birthday to Sunnypatti!
Happy Birthday, Sunnypatti – May your heart and body rejoice in this great life today.
Wishing you a peaceful, wonderful day. Happy birthday!
All the best to you 😘
Happy Birthday, Sunnypatti! Keep having them, too!
Thank you, everyone! You are all so kind, and I feel the good energy of your wishes waving over me. I’m grateful I got to have another birthday, and for the wonderful day that came along with it!
The song within me.
