I’m grateful for every single person I know. I am enjoying how each person is unique (with their own quirks).

I’m grateful that I’m able to give, (not in regard to the holidays), just able to give… give things away… or able to help… or listen.

I’m grateful for my skills, talents, and education, and the opportunity to use them.

    I’m grateful for nature.
I’m able to appreciate better and be grateful for a home, food, reasonable health, freedom, loved ones.

Good physical therapies that help me mobilise and the therapists that provide them. And that I am fortunate enough to be able to access them.

I am grateful for simply existing. For being able to see the people I love and for being able to do whatever it is in life I am doinf right now. I am grateful for this life that I live and for everything that comes along with it. I have been learning that gratitude is one of the main key to finding true happiness in life and that no matter what comes our way, there is something to always be thankful for.

Finding the book “Wake up Grateful”!
I was visiting my Nana (grandmother) she is in her 90’s, very set in her ways, hard hearing has taken over so she is constantly yelling “what??”, her house was scorching and there are many other details but for brevity’s sake – I was having my own private pity party. Nana was napping when I saw a book next to her chair under some papers, she doesn’t read books. Picked it up to see that my cousin, Kristi Nelson is the author and the title is “Wake Up Grateful”, I yelled “what??”.
I had no idea that my beautiful cousin, whom I have always admired and wanted to be a mix of she and her sister Martha, had written a book. Nana hadn’t mentioned it but Kristi had mailed it to her so I instantly started reading and within minutes my entire atmosphere and frame of mind changed. Replacing “I have to” with “I get to” was the mindblower for me, literally!
I am grateful for many things and the books messages spoke to every ounce of my being yet while writing this I am Extremely Proud, Honored and Grateful to say that my cousins book changed my Life, she is the catalyst and I am extremely thankful. I also learned many things about Kristi that I did not know, especially health details, she is an amazing woman just like her mother whom the heavens now hold.
p.s. please don’t let my comment lead you to believe that our Nana isn’t awesome because she is!
Thank you Kristi Nelson and thank you gratefulness.org for this incredible website.

Over the weekend, I was able to see friends and got to spend some time. So thankful that Mabel and Paolo came over to pick me up and we went to a taco place. We also got desserts and were able to explore Sawtelle. On Sunday, it felt really great that I was able to help out for Kaikai’s party. I picked up the pizza at Costco and was able to receive compliments from Nikki and her family about being able to help. Most grateful that I got to chat with Bebe when I got home while resting. I was able to really to spend some quality time and tender moments.

I am in great appreciation for the words for today, “just be”.

Also grateful for new awareness, regardless of what goes on, I can show compassion by letting others “just be” as well.

I guess i’m not too influenced by present day totalitarianism. When seeing other cultures and the totalitarian measures and governments at war with their own people it makes me grateful.

    So many things …

I am grateful for this website, the leadership and community – including all who share reflections on the daily question. When/as I fall off of the ‘gratefulness wagon’, I am drawn gently back to reconnect. The website and community are truly a quiet, steady, reliable and kind presence and gift, which guide me again and again to who and what really matters.

    Thank you all!
