Close my laptop and go for a walk. No more work when I’m tired, just nature and my breath!

Let go of my fears & worries. Stay in the present moment. Trust.
I love today’s word for the day, Julian Of Norwich’s quote. It resonates with me. Thank you gratefulness.org folks.🙏❤️

I loved the word for the day too and shared it with my kids and Josh’s sister.

I can put on my shoes, get outside, breathe deeply and embrace the beauty of the world right outside my door…

Yesterday I sat outside under a tree, and a nearby crow made all kinds of curious sounds and gestures to be seen, heard and attended to.

I can live more actively and fully in the moment, and giving the trusty mind a welcome rest …

by thinking less, worrying less, expecting less. Enjoy ing what I have, living more, wanting less. Appreciating what is in and without me at the moment.

Pause. Pay attention. Remember that the most ordinary of moments would shine in memory if I lost what I have now.

It’s a constant re engaging. Coming back, again and again. A shift of perspective is all it takes.

“Do” less and experience more fully. While I tend to maintain a full agenda, I am gradually moving to create more space within that agenda for savoring.

Free my heart from hatred. Free my mind from worries. Live simply. Give more. Expect less and enjoy every moment.

I feel like saying I have some business to attend to, like working on my health and other things… and yet it is also true that I should savor my life at whatever point I am… so I will try to do both, and perhaps even… learn to savor taking care of my health? 🙂

I have learnt to pause between doing things. Like getting into my car and rather than setting off immediately just sitting, maybe aware of a view or how I feel or simply nothing. I love this ‘space between.’

I try to enjoy “the daily rhythms of domestic life” (to quote Joan Didion) by remembering that dishes and laundry are also part of what it means to be alive. Daily reminders that I “get to” do chores, as opposed to “have to” do them helps me savor life.
