The Word illuminated. Smiles from the grands. My Hubble. Sharing with friends. Flowers. Trees.
What nourishes my spirit? is when people recognize my presence 🙂
Whatever feeds my soul. Respect , and love
An act of love ❤.
in all the zillion different variations, it’s love
Mindfully: Creating with wood by hand, preserving and conserving antique furniture, hands in the soil in the garden, pre-dawn walks with Bella (Kelpie dog), making and drinking tea.
The birds singing. It is glorious.
Happy May Day, to All.❤️🌸🌷🐝✨
Sunshine, of which we get precious little here in the Pacific Northwest!
I hear you! I sure love the rain but by April I want a bit more warmth! I know it is warmer because I see all my plants growing in my little yard. I just don’t feel it in my body yet. It is coming, I must be patient!
Prayer does; being with dear friends; joy and laughter, music, especially singing; when in the morning the monk warbler is singing in our garden and the blossoming right now all over. Being here with you, sharing. Being grateful.
Long walks in nature: the many greens of trees, the sky, the bird calls, the air.
Time spent with beloved family and friends.
Music, especially classical music.
Spending a day cooking lots of delicious food for someone to enjoy.
Being near water of any kind: creek, pond, lake, ocean shore, a splashing fountain.
I can close my eyes and see it all! I thank you!
Memories are just one of the things…like this memory that happened today….
I received a text from my daughter this morning…it said, “Happy May Day” and had an image of dancing around a May Pole.
When she was young, I would go to the local paint store and get several wallpaper samples that had been discontinued. On May Day, we would shape them into a cone, and fill them with goodies like cookie bars, sweet treats of some kind, and if it hadn’t snowed, flowers that were blooming….and then my daughter would take these to all the neighbors and say “Happy May Day!”
This still feeds my soul….good memories do that!
Happy May Day to you all and may your soul be feed well today!
art, music, books
This early spring morning, with yellow – green leaves, and tulips and blossoms everywhere. The call of a robin outside in the early dawn. The sweet smell of the lilac bush as I pass it on the sidewalk. Always and always nature, and especially the miracle of spring after a long New England winter.
Love this…thank you…
The sweet sounds of children’s laughter.
