To leave a minimal footprint; live openly with integrity each day; reflecting God’s love and image; to continue to “preach it sister” when inspired to do so; to be a friend in need; to be there as a companion at the end.

To be a reflection of God’s love to everyone I meet.

Have a more beneficial than negative effect and pass that outlook to new generations. If more of us push the dial just a little the right way it is cumulatively massive.

To do all I can to stay in a positive high frequency so that the good just happens.

To leave things/people/situations a little better than I found them. This is how I will pay my rent for the space I inhabited on this beautiful planet.

I was brought up both by teaching and modelling from my parents to serve and I have always tried to serve in whatever way I can.
Digging deep, I think my bottom line intent is to bring love. If it is only for a moment, it is worth it. As a teacher, we have often taken children no one else would take. I feel that if we can offer them love even for the short time they are with us (sometimes just a matter of weeks) it might be the only love they experience. If I can spread a bit of love to, for example, the lonely old neighbour, the friend having a bad day etc etc, I feel I have done the best I can and made a difference in the world – I will have served my purpose.

As long as I can remember it was to help reduce suffering of the people around. As a teen, it was so through listening carefully to guests who were sharing their problems and, through understanding and sharing perspective, to possibly increase awareness of the situation as a whole; later through finding equivalents to support increase of consciousness in order to help freeing the mind of possible unhealthy perspectives, God willing and with His Grace. Whatever way is meant to be to serve, may I humbly want His will to be mine. Then all is well.

Reduce my karmic load. Take my mind off of my own issues, and become a better person; to be more of a human by becoming more humane.

That feeling of serving the humanity gives inner fulfillment, satisfaction and purest form of joy that’s unmatchable to anything materialistic. That just add an extra ounce of purpose to my existence.

To be kind to all. To be aware enough to help when I see a need. To be grateful to be alive on this beautiful planet Earth and protect it.

Myself and the world are one and the same. I can’t ignore the world, while serving myself and I can’t ignore myself while serving the world. My deepest intent to serving the world is to nourish myself. Is that selfish or selfless? Indeed I see it as both. I’ll leave how I serve the world for a future reflection.
