I wish each person could learn to trust his and her Creator for who they are, what they need, and how they can serve. This would put an end to a multitude of sins, and bring justice, peace, and prosperity. – Heck. I’m still trying to learn this myself.

WHAT IS MY WISH FOR THE WORLD?

I desire for the world to be united and peaceful. Unity from similarities not differences and peace by being humble to yourself and others.

That we all open up to listening with compassion; to being present with all others so that they are not “other” but “us;” to give ourselves the gift of authenticity and connection; the release of our fear of pain and the courage to free ourselves to feel pain to prevent suffering; unconditional acceptance, love, and gratitude for what we are, as we are, combined with an unequivocal belief in our ability to grow; forgiveness for all human beings and ourselves; gifting our true selves to others to share their pain and to truly see and hear them and feel gratitude for their willingness to share who they are; that we can let go of the fear of needing connection to others; understand that unconditional love and connection are equally important to sustenance and shelter.
Everyone on every “side” seems to fear that their needs will not be met or believe their needs are more important than anyone else’s and the louder we all lecture in our righteousness, the more separate we become and the more fear and suffering fill us all. Compassion requires truly listening to someone, being aware of our opinions, beliefs, or assumptions about who they are and their “worth” that often keep us separated. Please really listen to each other. That is my wish for the world.

Oh let’s see. Just the total transformation of systems and priorities — from extraction to regeneration, from a domination paradigm to an equality paradigm, from me to we, from pretend democracy to real democracy, from too few having too much to everyone having sufficient.

To see beauty in each other. To see the connection in each other of the Divine. I guess that would be heaven, and would be impossible…so maybe just to get along with each other, work together for the common good of all beings…

That we as a species evolve enough to save the planet and each other.. Many years ago when I was attending 12 step meetings and sponsoring a lot of newcomers who were confused about what God’s will was for them, I realized that for me, God’s will is simple. All God/Life asks of me is that I deal in reality, that I don’t just look but that I be willing to see, to own my thoughts, my feelings, my actions. Until I accept this responsibility I will have a very difficult time seeing you. Why? Because, without this willingness, I make myself the center of the Universe and my ego constantly cries, “What about me?”

My higher power is the direction of my life not my false self little tiny me who wants to hide behind the curtain of fear of false beliefs. letting go and letting God is a hole new world. That’s what I’m hoping to experience and I hope that for the world as well. What I have found is that the principles of the 12 steps are universal principles. It was helpful for me to see what inspired the program and what needs to change in the program. There is still too much resistance there of letting go of the past so I left. I keep in touch with 2 people who are making changes that I support as I learn to move forward myself. Thank Carol you must have been a very good sponsor.

Mostly peace, Love, and Happiness, so I join you in what has been mentioned already. That our fellow people may suffer less and could leave behind to feeling lonely, instead appreciating times of being alone to recover and find back to being centered and present.

When I look around I see a relentless need for courage. Not simply the courage to do difficult things and face demanding choices which challenge our perceived needs. But also the fortitude to simply face the fear and uncertainty and carry on. And the courage to continue to have faith in the face of tenacious doubt and cynicism.
