Right now, I am so thankful for my wife. It’s just us this year. We’re both tired. Feels like we’ve been going 100mph for too long and my back went out a couple of hours ago, and yet, I am grateful for so much. We can make the best of most situations.
A group of dear friends with whom I’m sharing a magical getaway on the wild west coast of BC. And for an ever deepening relationship with the natural world.
I am thankful for many relationships. My son and his fiance I am blessed to live with and own a house together. I am also especially thankful for friends that stay in the touch and are supportive during a life crisis. I also very thankful for friends and family in my life and the many fun gatherings and celebrations we share.
It is always interesting to does stay in touch in a crisis. It is not always the people we expect.
I am grateful for my family and friends, for all those who support me, laugh or cry with me, and bring their wisdom to our many conversations.
As I read through the posts my gratitude expanded to the the challenging ones that provide opportunity to evolve and to express and gain strentghs that are required. If I am mindful of this intention then I will experience gratitude for all relationships.
I can’t believe I have to pick what relationships I’m grateful for ! I’m grateful for all of them! And I’m grateful for the people who loving kindness that don’t know personally! They help me in more ways than I can count ! Happy thanksgiving everyone and thank you !
I am thankful for them all, especially the relationships with my beautiful daughter, my kind & loving cousin & my sister, who I recently reconnected with after 20+ years.
I am thankful for my ever deepening relationship with the Divine.✨🙏🏻✨
I am blessed.
Happy Thanksgiving to All here. Thank you for your words & stories. ❤️
All of them but most thankful for the ones at the extremes of the scale including loving and difficult. These relationships seem to help me the most!
I am thankful for my family and friends, my wonderful husband, my excellent grandson, and for the wonderful feast we will share today with friends.
I am thankful for my ever-deepening relationship with the Divine through life’s ups & downs….& through each of you in this daily Gratefulness network. Namaste!
It is an interesting idea, isn’t it? If relationship means “connection” between two and many paths of devotion point to “unification” or “oneness”, then the idea of relationship kind of doesn’t fit? Perhaps it is a homecoming or a realization or something else? I am not sure and continue to explore the Truth experientially because words can tangle a bit.
I am very thankful for my husband, my pets, my family…neices and nephews…and a brand new great-great niece born on Monday. I am graterul for those who were in my life and now have passed on- but their love and their memories will always live in my heart. I am so grateful for this beautiful earth and all it provides. I am camping on the Ocean now- in Jacksonville, Fl…and the water is in my soul.
But here and now- I am grateful for all of you and your kindness to one another and always your words of wisdom and experience. God Bless all of you…and especially good thoughts to those who are sad and/or lonely. May you find a bit of happiness and peace today.
My relationship with my children and grandchildren. I’m the only parent/grandparent they have left on this earth and I give thanks for the gift of being present in their lives. On this Thanksgiving Day, I’m reminded of a quote from Meister Eckhart: “If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.” Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I, too, am thankful for you and this site that allows us to connect everyday.
Ann Lamont used that quote for one of her books too. I like it. Your kids and grandkids are blessed to have you too.
