For me it is late afternoon and early evening. Any pressures, concerns or challenges of the day have come and gone, for the most part. That is my time of letting go, going for a walk, being by the water, soaking in water, reading, connecting with a family member or friend or… just being with the moment, life, savouring, being with and appreciating what is, letting go …

hmmm, I live on the shore of beautiful Lake Atitlan. All I have to do is walk out my front door and sit on the porch to soak up beauty and peace. And yet, more often, I’m inside at the table, scrolling or at best visiting this site. All of your beautiful reflections acted as a wake up for me just now. I closed the laptop. Took off my glasses. Brought my tea out to the porch and just sat. I saw birds and butterflies and watched the leaves bob and dance in a gentle wind. I heard an occasional wind chime with bird song – and even a boat or a jet ski go by. I did nothing — no book, no sudoku, no kindle, no mental list making. It was truly divine. And right here for me. Thank you all for the reminder. Sending love and gentle breezes out to you all.

At two in the morning, no one comes into my room, no one bothers me. I’m simply here with my thoughts and anything I feel like doing. It’s private, it’s quiet, it’s nice. It’s late and I’m tired of course, but I stay awake as long as I can because it’s time to myself

My mid to late afternoon pause with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. A marker shifting the rhythm from something to something else.

the still quietness of the morning, beckoning, peace be with you

listen closer and then listen again, the still still quiet of the earth slowly awakens

that little bit of spirit comes alive, grateful for another day

Before everyone else wakes up, like 330-4am is my favorite time of day. I like running super early before everyone wakes up.

any time of day can be peaceful for me . . .
any moment might be a peaceful moment.
I find peaceful moments all over
    throughout my day
    and into the night . . .

That’s an easy question. Early mornings are the time when I can reflect and gather my thoughts. It feels like a fresh start, like only good things are happening at that hour. I lost this for a long time and I avoided mornings. Replaced it with watching the “news”. What a terrible idea.

The time of day that is most peaceful for me is early morning, the time I arise. It is quiet, the sun has just risen, the birds are singing. The quiet makes it conducive for my prayer & meditation time. I also feel closest to higher realms & Source in the early morning.
    Happy Saturday All.❤️🙏✨

My morning routine is peaceful. Before any news or social media or to-do lists, I read poetry on sites I visit every morning, then come here. Our cat often curls up on my outstretched legs on the sofa, I sip hot coffee my husband brings me, I listen to the birds outside during the seasons when it’s not too cold to have the window open and feel the cool air coming in.
The second time of day is in the early evening in the summer, when my husband and I sit outside on our little patio reading and sipping something, occasionally reading a funny or thought-provoking line out loud to share. I stop to look up at the sky every so often and look into the trees. Our back yard is enclosed by fences and tall plants and it feels like a special, private space, even with neighbors on all sides of us.

Mornings. I feed the cats, take my meds and then start my meditation practice. When my meditation ends the cats are ready for a cuddle. In winter I have a nice warm tea and then my day starts and I hope that it will be mostly peaceful…or that I will be mostly peaceful regardless of how the day turns out to be.

yes when I wake up and then later in the day, or anytime I sit with my breath, or listen to the birds or… now that I’m exploring this further…there are many opportunities. Great question

The most peaceful time of day for me is about a half hour or hour after I wake. When I first wake I always have things to do and I am shaking off sleep, but usually after I feed the cat, put in laundry and such, I have some quiet time before others are up. 😊

First thing in the morning. I love the stillness of morning, hearing the birds welcome the day, sun rising, and my routine that sets me up for the day ahead.

When I first get up in the early morning. There’s silence, peaceful atmosphere, knowing that it’s the start of a new day and new experiences. My meditations and reflections are most effective then and begin my day with positivity and appreciation

I’m not an early riser. Late afternoon is my golden hour. Work or chores are over for the day. I’ve had a nice long walk to tire me out and put the day’s stresses in the rear view mirror. Then some quiet time before dinner.

early morning – I enjoy the quiet and solitude. I hear the neighborhood peacocks and other birds. Peaceful. ☮ Also the colors at sunset/twilight are peaceful and hold magic to it.

I don’t know how to answer this . I know the “right” way to answer this. To make the picture perfect morning or evening.
Right now, in the present moment, I’m broken and falling apart. Letting go of whatever is coming up and out.
Like brother David teaches us: stop , look and go. 🙏

Oh Antoinette, I’m sorry you are suffering today. Please know you are held in love. As I soak up moments of quiet and peace through my day I will exhale that feeling toward you and all the others who are struggling.

The “right” way to answer this was exactly as you did.

Pause, breathe and know you are loved.

I have been there Antoinette and you will emerge from it. And thank you for having the courage to answer the question honestly. To me, that is evidence you are making progress and silver linings in your despair are right around the corner for you. You are a warrior and the universe will reward you for your strength and courage. Be patient.

The most peaceful time of the day for me is early AM. I wake up on purpose at this time to meet this peace and try and bring it into the rest of my day.

There’s a duality of times for me, or perhaps a ying and yang. There are stretches in the summer when dawn, 530 is just right, like Goldilocks’s porridge. The sky and all of nature is just waking, bird’s song is textured and rich with joy. Other times, during winter and fall, being out in nature seems safer anytime between 1100 and 200 am. “ In the stillness is the dancing.”

Always up at 4:00 am or before. The day always starts with a period of contemplative practice, then out for a pre-dawn walk with Bella (Kelpie dog). It is not necessarily motivated by peace, but a devoted practice. Some days have been far from peaceful – perhaps more like a quake, but that can be the nature of flowering.

Right now, at 4:15 AM. The house is quiet, my dear wife, dog, and cat are all asleep upstairs. I farmed as a teenager and young adult which meant I was in the barn milking cows by this time every morning. When our three daughters were all young it was the only time that I could have peace and quiet with no interruptions. These days, three times weekly, I row with my teammates and enjoy showing up early at the harbor to set up the boat. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to sleep in until 5 AM, but for some reason it just seems to be in my bones to be an early riser.

Right now, when my insomnia takes me away from my slumber. These times can be good or frustrating. My hip is also bothering me, so some Tylenol is also helpful. It is quiet, and around 2AM here, so I will be able to go back to sleep and rest a bit more, which is good. And when I have had the good fortune to have slept all night, getting up early before my husband or our dog is wonderful as well…it is quiet then, and I like listening to the birds wake up as I meditate and sip my coffee.
Now to do some meditation as the pain subsides in my hip. and then go back to sleep….ahh, life. It is good!

Deep sleep. There is no experience of thought or emotion😀
No. I get up at 4 am doing my breathing exercises and then sit for an hour trying to meditate. Then having a cup of tea with my daughter. It is always the most peacefull time of the day. 😇

Early mornings, sunsets and night. I feel very connected to the changing colours of the sky in these moments because they remind me of the impermanent nature of all things.
Reflecting on impermanence is liberating to me, it gives me peace and a sense of acceptance.
Furthermore I really love when nature mirror my inner meditations.
