Tami Simon from SoundsTrue introduces Br. David at Eckhart Tolle Foundation’s “Living a Life of Presence”, a four-day event that took place in Huntington Beach, California from September 29th – October 1st, 2016.
Brother David talks about Life, Mystery, and “time” vs. “now,” and how Life is a continuous encounter with mystery and that IS “presence.” He talks about the unique individual “I” vs. the universal “self,” and how the “self” replaces fear with trust, and leads to peace, cooperation, and sharing. He addresses how grateful living practice teaches us to become fully alive in the present, by recognizing the gifts of the opportunity of each moment and doing something with that opportunity.
