Dear Friends,
Voting is an integral part of Grateful Living. But there is more to it.
We show ourselves grateful for the opportunity to vote in free elections by casting our vote. But we can do a lot more.
Here are 5 suggestions:
- Can you think of friends — especially young people — who might hesitate to vote? Please call and encourage them!
- Do some of your older friends have difficulties getting and filling out absentee ballots? Please assist them.
- Does someone you know need a ride to the polls? Please, offer them a lift.
- Does the candidate of your choice need a push? Why not make some phone calls?
- Are your friends anxious and discouraged? Make plans with them, right now, for a victory party!
Can you share your own ideas with us? Gratefulness makes inventive.
Thank you,
Your brother David
